We collect, sort and export second-hand and new clothing from the United Kingdom. Our mission is to extend the lifespan of textiles, minimise environmental harm and support the circular economy.
Welcome to TexTrade UK. We are a British textile collection and recycling company with over 13 years of experience in the industry. Based in Newport, South Wales, our textiles are sourced from trusted partners across England, Scotland and Wales — local councils, charity collectors, clothing banks and the public.
Because our clothing is 100% UK-sourced, we offer consistent quality at competitive prices. Every garment that reaches our facility is hand-sorted by experienced graders and prepared for its best next use — whether that is reuse through wholesale export, repurposing into industrial materials, or fibre recovery.
We treat every customer and supplier as an individual and foster long-term relationships built on trust, transparency and reliable service. From the first enquiry to the delivered bale, our multilingual team ensures clear communication at every stage.
What we do
For Communities
We partner with local councils to provide textile collection services, clothing banks and transparent recycling reporting. We also support charities and schools with collection programmes that generate funding.
Wholesale
We export sorted and unsorted textiles to buyers in over 30 countries. Consistent grading, reliable supply and full logistics support from our Newport facility.
For Brands
We work with fashion brands and retailers to manage overstock, customer returns and end-of-line stock sustainably. Full traceability and ESG-aligned reporting.
How we operate

Collection
Textiles are collected from councils, charity partners, clothing banks and the public across the UK. Everything is 100% British origin, traceable and destined for reuse — never landfill.

Sorting & Grading
Our skilled team hand-sorts every item at our Newport facility. We grade by category, season and quality tier — consistent standards that buyers rely on.

Export & Recycle
Wearable garments are exported to wholesale markets worldwide. Non-wearable textiles are repurposed or recycled. Full documentation, zero waste.
